As volunteers we don’t build many new trails these days. Staff and summer hires have taken over much of the work previously led by volunteers. The City continues to put a few old easements and ROWs on as trails; Parks & Rec Dept has added a few new trails (and an awesome mountain-biking park), and the Parks Foundation has been active in acquiring easements and trail access. There are still volunteer work party signups but the original Trails Committee was disbanded in 2025, and I haven’t been keeping track since then.
